WebDec 26, 2024 · As a quick refresher, Global Entry is a federal initiative that allows pre-approved, low-risk travelers expedited entry when they enter the U.S. at participating airports. To qualify for the five-year Global Entry program, you need to complete an online application, pass an in-person interview and pay a $100 fee. WebNEXUS is designed to speed up border crossings into Canada and the United States ( U.S.) for low-risk, pre-approved travellers. It is jointly run by the Canada Border Services Agency and U.S. Customs and Border Protection. NEXUS memberships are valid for 5 years. There is a $50 ( USD) non-refundable application processing fee.
